We love this idea and we think you will too. An all natural air freshener, that will fill your home with the scents of orange and cloves. These are great for Fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas. You can also use them as soft lighting for any home party, mantel or table setting. The photo is self explanatory. Enjoy! […]
White Food has gotten a bum rap because white sugar and white flour are harmful in excess. But it’s unwise to discriminate against “white” foods when it’s the color of some extremely healthy foods. Cauliflower, garlic, onions, red skin potatoes, and white beans, are all over-the-top nutritious. Strangely, unlike other foods whose nutrient properties are based on color, […]
This article was written for the Salvation Army’s School of Leadership Development and used with permission. Health & Ministry – The Connection By Denise Kennedy CN I am amazed that July’s Leader Builder newsletter focused on Networking and Connections. The theme of connectedness captures the essence of my first article: The Body, Mind and […]
Hypothyroidism (aka underactive thyroid) is a state in which the thyroid gland does not produce sufficient amounts of the thyroid hormones thyroxin and triiodothyronine. Iodine deficiency is often cited as the most common cause of hypothyroidism worldwide but it can also be associated with increased stress. By making a few small changes or additions to your daily diet, […]
Cilantro is an excellent cleanser for flushing mercury (and other harmful metals) from the body. High mercury levels put stress on the heart, liver and other important organs. Unfortunately for us, it’s nearly impossible to avoid. Let’s be clear on one very important point. You will not eliminate 100% of all the mercury in your body in only 14 days. […]
All Vegetables take more calories to burn than they give you. (Not starchy vegetables – but all the rest). But it isn’t just this soup, it’s all vegetables. The negative calorie diet is the belief that there are negative calorie foods that take more calories to digest than the actual calorie content of these foods and […]

Lou S.Thank you for the presentation you gave for our ladies meeting. It was informative, practical and eye-opening! You know the ladies received the message by the good questions they asked and the fact that they lingered to talk with you afterward. You are appreciated and gifted.

I recently had a Nutritional Counseling appointment with Denise. I basically needed some reassurance that I was doing ‘everything’ ok. Sometimes when we are not perfect with our daily consumption of food and supplements we think we are not making a difference. I explained my personal situation with her and she reassured me that I was doing a great job. Denise also provided me with some great advice that will help benefit my overall health both now and the future.Paulette K
