A Natural Way to Reduce High Blood Pressure

There are many natural ways to help reduce High Blood Pressure and one way is Aromatherapy.

For inhalation, using an electric diffuser is the most effective way to introduce healing benefits of essential oils.  The following recipe can be used in a diffuser by preparing a greater quantity of blended essential oils.  You can also try inhaling from a tissue by putting a few drops of the blend on a tissue and keep breathing it for 10 minutes.  You can also put a few drops of the blend in an aroma lamp.  The essential oils employed for decreasing blood pressure are known for their relaxation and sedating properties.  Like anything else there are different qualities of essential oils – try your local health food store.

The “inhalation” blend for hypertension:
4 parts Lavender essential oil,
2 parts Ylang ylang essential oil,
1 part Clary Sage essential oil,
1 part Nutmeg essential oil,

Mix the essential oils in an amber bottle.  Use drops if a small amount is needed, and teaspoon or ½ oz-sized bottle if a large amount is needed for diffuser use.  Use in moderation by diffusing 3 or 4 times per day in 10 minute durations.  Practice healthy breathing exercises while the diffuser is on for even more benefit.
